We were founded in 2005 by Susan & Tom Bogan as a training facility. In 2005, we also began breeding show quality Appaloosa Horses.

Do you love horses and want to learn more about them?  Would you like to learn how to ride with confidence one day?   Horse Crazy Ranch will  educate you about the nature and habits of Horses including their diets, safety, handling, daily life & care, and horse management.  Learn to brush, groom, bridle, saddle, lead, and other hands-on techniques.  Learn proper mounting, dismounting, forming a union with the horse, and more!

We have a very strong commitment to excellence that stems from our life time  exposure to horses!

'Our goal is to create a outdoor recreational horse facility that is beautiful, clean, and most of all conducive to the safety and enjoyment of our equine friends. We wanted to create worry free boarding. We want our customers to have confidence that we are giving their horses the same loving care that they would'. 

Additional care such as grooming, vet care, supplements, medications and exercise are all available to be arranged for on an individual basis.

Pendleton County  West Virginia is an outdoorsman's dream! Raw beauty is everywhere in. The South Branch of the Potomac flows through Pendleton Counties and is a superb fishery specializing in some of the best Smallmouth Bass and Trout fishing in the state. This river is stocked several times a year with Trout that is grown in the local fish hatcheries. This stocking  program ensures that there is always  an ample supply of trout available for everyone.

The South Branch of the Potomac also offers canoeing, rafting, and swimming. Our Ranch Offers a picnic area, tent camping area, and the best of a good ole fashion horse back ride.  Thru the country back roads and scenic mountains of Pendleton County! 

If horse back riding and exploring the National Forest is your forte, the opportunities in this area are endless. Monongahela National Forest is just a short ride from our Ranch. Visit our Ranch and discover what Horses and Almost Heaven can offer you!

Enjoy one hour riding lesson or a private couples trail ride., or just a rustic night of tent camping under the stars on our ranch is near natures wild.  Squirrels & deer are abundant and may join you at your camp site. Listen

to the thundering hooves of our of mares, foals & stallions as they run & neigh. We also have 1 pond for private fishing and a small stream for the youngster to play. & enjoy the outdoors. The ranch offers a tour of the facilities and a Saturday horse clinic.

Our area also supports National Forests such as the Monongahela and George Washington National Forest. These forests offer literally thousands of unscathed acres available for horse back riding, hiking, camping or sightseeing.
